Our experience was great, we recommend her wholeheartedly and would hire her again (which I did not chose to do with the doula we used for our first birth)–in fact I joke that I want to have a third baby just to have the great experience again.  Things I really appreciated about Heather: her excellent body-working skills helped her have an intuitive understanding of what to offer physically, while she was also very good at checking with me verbally; and she communicated very effectively with my husband and other family members (including 3 yo son) and the staff at Sutter Davis.  Because we had told her that my husband would appreciate direction, she provided that in an always respectful and non-instrusive manner.
